Instructors may modify how a course navigation menu appears. For example, if an instructor did not plan to use the Groups area, the instructor could choose to hide that link so that it did not appear in the navigation menu for students.
To add a menu item, log into your course site and click the “+” sign in the upper, left-hand corner of the navigation menu. Note: A gray box will appear to the right of a content area until you begin adding content to that specific area.
To hide a menu item, log into your course site, click the double arrows to the right of the area you want to hide and choose Hide Link. A gray box with a diagonal line through it will appear to the right of the menu item to indicate that it is hidden from student view.
To rename a menu item, log into your course site, click the double arrows to the right of the area you want to rename and choose Rename Link.
To rearrange menu items, hover your mouse over the arrows that appear to the left of an item in the navigation menu, and click and drag that item to where you would like it to appear.
